Hangingstone Point Security and Parking Update!
Few items for our little Fort McMurray community to take note of.
Signage (parking) is scheduled to arrive within the next week or two and as we’ve eluded to, we will be starting to enforce parking policies and our bylaws.
You will start to see Paladin Security in and around HSP, a company originally founded in 1976 and currently one of the largest security firms in the country (https://paladinsecurity.com/).
Paladin officers are trained to issue tickets to comply with Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo bylaws including fines of $150 for general parking infractions and up to $500 for parking in a special needs spot. Additionally, they will be issuing infraction notices for compliance to our condominium bylaws.
Over the next few weeks you will see the mobile patrol visiting on a frequent basis as we work to curb the abuse of our site by neighbors and commuters. Patrols will be adjusted as needed to ensure that we are maintaining our community for the benefit of our residents.
We believe this will help to address the parking concerns relatively quickly and ensure that our community living standards are being met.
We do encourage our visitors to HSP to register their vehicles, you will see the QR code present throughout the signage to ensure this is easy and convenient to do.
It will be so beneficial in keeping things operational and well kept.
